About Us

Welcome to BAM Labs TT Club, by BAM Laboratories. The TT stands for "Track your Training". BAM Labs started as an innovative fitness concept with studios in Mexico and Spain, with the singular ethos of being what you need, not what you want.

We created this app to help our community measure their progress in clear and actionable way, while offering guidance on fitness programming. Now, following overwhelming positive feedback, we decided to make the app available to a wider audience. We hope the app will become a natural extension of your health journey and support you in achieving your goals. To follow along with our journey, check us out on instagram at @bamlabs.mx and @bamlabs.es.

No matter how you frame it, there are three core components for optimizing your physicial potential:

• Strength

• Cardio

• Mobility

BAM's goal is to ensure you exert real effort in each of these areas. And whether you're a beginner, expert, or somewhere in between, we've got you covered.

Strength

Unlike cardio, strength is a different beast when it comes to knowledge and progress. Though weight training is often associated with bodybuilding, building muscle mass is an integral part of healthy aging and a balanced fitness program.

Cardio

Cardio is typically considered the most popular area due to its accesibility and this will likely be the easiest area for you to make progress. While some options (i.e. rowing vs running) may be better than others, the important thing is to take your body to its ventilatory threshold (VT) at least twice per week. Reaching your VT activates your heart and lungs among many other benefits.

Mobility

Mobility cannot be an afterthought. When it comes to stretching, you don't need to overcomplicate the matter. Yes, there are plenty of yoga and pilates studios, but there are also an endless amount of quick, effective stretching videos on youtube (check out @breatheandflow or @TheKneesovertoesguy channel on youtube). From me to you, I can't stress enough the importance of starting now.

This app was mainly created to keep track of your strength workout and to keep track of your strength records. To make sure you are making progress. You should be looking for progressive overload.

What is progressive overload? Progressive overload is a training principle that involves gradually increasing the weight, reps, or range of motion of the exercise overtime to stimulate muscle growth and improve fitness.

There are other features in the app to help you guide yourself towards your daily habits we often overstate but should fulfill.

Examples:

• Walking 10,000 steps

• Sleeping 8 hours

• Breathing deeply

• Drinking water

• Grounding

• Talking to family or loved ones

• Among others

To sum up, I was having a lot of trouble finding an app that could help me track all of my habits and progress and as you may have heard you cannot improve what you cannot measure. I hope this helps.

I'm certainly happy to know if you're reading this is because the app is live and the gym project (BAM Labs) is still alive. Miguel Berlanga CEO and Founder

As small of an achievement this may seem to you, you have no idea of the time, money and effort I've invested into this project and it surely makes me overjoyed regardless of the outcome.
